Our Website Design Process

Our design process begins with a Kickoff Meeting. At this meeting, our goals are to review finalized project specification is for our design team to learn about your company image, style, audience and business objectives.

During this phase, we work closely with you and your team to brainstorm ways that your website can serve all of your business objectives.

Our objectives for this workshop are to:

  • Identify primary and secondary needs and objectives for your website
  • Identify the target market(s)
  • Profile all types of potential users
  • Review exising marketing materials and brand guidelines
  • Establish the intended style and theme of the website
  • Create a draft sitemap
  • Outline project plan, milestones and timelines

The next steps are to begin developing design mockups, site map and user flow diagrams. Backbone will present design mockups to your team. We encourage you to review the mockups with your team and provide feedback. Based on your feedback, we will rework the design mockups. Once a chosen design is finalized, we will move into the Website Development phase.
